The Lunar Codex uses digital and analog technology to preserve art, books, music, and more, enclosed in time capsules and launched to the Moon. It is a message-in-a-bottle to the future.

Curatorial Notes
Gallery G showcases a selection of works from the Νουα and Polaris collections, representing only a small fraction of the total works archived by the Lunar Codex.
The artists in the Codex range far and wide across the globe, from India to the U.S., from Hungary to South Africa, from Australia to the Philippines.
All bring to their work a sense of immediacy and emotion in the figurative language of the world around us, whether through an expressionist lens or distilled through the idiom of realism.

This work by Gibraltar artist Wanda Bush was created for the Heritage Trust competition in 2020. It captures the artist's neighbors clapping in the evening, in appreciation of doctors, nurses and emergency services during the COVID-19 pandemic. The painting was selected by the Heritage Trust for the cover of their 2021 calendar.
